ISRO URSC Recruitment 2026 Qualification

Technician-B: Candidates must have passed SSLC/SSC/Matriculation and possess ITI/NTC/NAC certification in the relevant trade from NCVT. Eligible trades include Electronics Mechanic, Fitter, Electrician, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Turner, Machinist, Motor Vehicle Mechanic and Electroplater.

Light Vehicle Driver-A: Applicants must have passed SSLC/SSC/Matriculation or an equivalent examination, have at least 3 years of experience as a light vehicle driver, and possess a valid light vehicle driving licence. The prescribed experience must be after obtaining the valid driving licence.

Staff Car Driver-A: Candidates must have passed Matriculation/SSLC/SSC or an equivalent examination, possess a valid light vehicle driving licence, and have at least 3 years of experience as a light vehicle driver.

Heavy Vehicle Driver-A: Applicants must have passed SSLC/SSC/Matriculation or an equivalent examination and have 5 years of driving experience, including at least 3 years as a heavy vehicle driver and the remaining period as a light motor vehicle driver. A valid heavy vehicle driving licence and Public Service Badge, wherever statutorily required, are also necessary.

The prescribed age limit is 18 to 35 years as of 13 November 2026 for the advertised posts. Age relaxation is available according to Government of India rules, including 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates against vacancies reserved for their respective categories. Other eligible categories may receive relaxation under applicable rules.
